I looked at the sky last night and it was just amazing, there was a full moon, and the clouds were all alligned in a beautiful pattern, it left me with my jaw open. I decided to take a photo just to see how it would look, and ended up with a black picture with the moon being just a bright white dot. What kind of digital camera could work for these ocasions?
That's interesting! I am getting a semipro after or for Xmas and see what I can do. I have been searching stock photos lately and I was impressed by some pics that were really beautiful. I think that with a good cam and some practice and inspiration I can get a few good ones! I am thinking of a dig cam with at least 5m pixel res, interchangeable good lenses, at least 10x optical zoom, and something else, I am currently looking into it with no hurry.
I love taking photos... so I guess it is time to change my crappy 2 megapixels camera for a better one. Problem is that I don't know how to use lenses or things like that, I just want a point-and-shoot camera.
Well I'm in that position too. But I am sure that we can improve as long as we get some motivation by a brand new piece of technology! I hope I can spend less than 500$ and that someone pops in for some advice!
My Sony 5MP CyberShot really sucks. I think I'm going to get the Canon Rebel XT 8.0 MP As good as it gets w/ my Sony-

Yeah to get some pretty good pictures you're going to have to spend a little money on the camera. The Canon Rebel is suppossed to be a pretty good camera.
