    Hi All!

I love digital point, and finally became a member instead of just lurking. Does anybody else use any other forums or boards? I would love to expand...

I occasionally use TalkFreelance, but DP is definitely my forum of choice at the moment.

There's also WebmasterWorld and Sitepoint, but yeah, again, DP is definitely my forum of choice.

sitepoint is OK and v7n is a guest active forum.

I don't know whether it is real but there are always atleast 500 guests online there.
And DP has many real members chatting online.

There are thousands of forums to choose from but DP is currently 1º in my opinion. Try v7 I think it’s a good forum as well.

If you rank forums by quality then WMW would rank FIRST.
    It is matchless forum ....

haha Yes it is partially right :)
I have posted more than 1000 posts on DP , nearly half in v7n and more less in sitepoint. And in WMW yet 10 is to break.

DP is most suitable for beginners+intermediates ...
but WMW is only for advances users. :)

They try their best to get rid off NOISE.Because WMW model is not all about number of posts and topics its all about authority and quality. :)

.... but it doesn't mean that advanced users cannot fit in DP.There are already good number of examples here. But WMW is fill up to neck with quality members and NOISE is minimal at WMW.

WMW is like playing football... Without the ball...

"Hi, we're webmasters and all have websites we want to talk about but hold on, we can't link to them."

I think they have ONE ball which is needed.
Yes they don't allow every one to bring their ball in the ground and start tossing it. ;)

Not really, WMW is only for WMW's old members.
Even if you are an advanced webmaster, and you dared to post your point of views, which doesnt match with thier Point of views, they will make you look like n00b.

I remeber posting there a simple question about PHP, since I was basically windows guy, in start I used ASP to code my pages, instead of answer me they asked me why the hell I am using ASP and if I dont know PHP I have no rights to call my self a Webmaster.

It really truned me off and that was my last post on WMW.

On the other hand if I ask any newbie Question on DP, most likely I'll get the accurate reply within 10 minutes, be it PHP, ASP, MySQL, Java, Server Problems, Apache, IIS, my cat, my dog or any problem related to my life...

It was discussed in another thread that V7n shows all the users/visitors that have loggin in the last 40 min+ whereas DP only shows last 15 min

V7n is ok to check once in a while...but most of its users seem to be on here too

its say DP is my fav, then V7n

the reason i dont recomment webmaster world is the design isnt the nicest and YOU CANNOT POST LINKS ON WW which sucks!!!
the features and thread organization (sub forums) on DP make the forum so flexible and informative and easy to find data..
