Just search it through google, but I think google analytics is the best way for traffic profiling.

Google analytics is the industry-standard, it has comprehensive metrics and best of all it's free. It doesn't get any better than that!

Don't go for any other tool for tracking traffic just stick with the google analytics . It is the best traffic analysis tool ever used by me. It shows the exact traffic as compared to other tool . You can easily compare other traffic tool result with google analytics and you will see the difference then you will realize google analytics is best tool ever.

If you feel like spending money, there's always Omniture's SiteCatalyst :) For quick and basic analytics you can deploy StatCounter. If you want comprehensive analytics without handing any of your data to Google, you can deploy http://piwik.org/ . Apache outputs log files that can be analyzed by programs like AWStats (if you're using cPanel this is generally installed by default). Then there are cool new-wave analytics packages like Mint (http://haveamint.com/).

So really, lots of choices other than Google Analytics.

+1 for piwik, you host it on your server and it's statistics and features is just like Analytics if not better.
