I had some plan to list up couple of items on DP, however I had to go out for some personal work. So I was looking for scheduling the post for a later time... couldn't find it Can I do that on DP, like ebay ?

    Thanks.

Thank you Shawn for your quick reply and shifting the post to an appropriate thread :)
    Will not repeat again !
BTW I think it would be really a great idea to implement such a thing on DP, especially keeping an option for the premium members. As I think it is a great way to post some really good threads of any selling services to go live at a particular time or end those sales on a particular time.
I had been doing such things on ebay to get the maximum exposure for my auctions, which eventually helps to get more viewers or more bids :)
Thanks once again for your quick reply ;)

Would be fun for some spammers who schedule all their posts to their website in all different sections on the same time period (if the limit wouldn't be used for this). Fortunately this is not going to happen :D Ofcourse it's a good idea though ;)

@Shawn, do threads auto-save? Might be cool to have something like 'drafts' somewhere in the control panel so you can pause threads.

No, threads don't auto-save. Letting people save a bunch of "draft" threads seems like it could be taken advantage of. Plus it would be a huge amount of work for a small percentage that would use it I think.

A new version of vBulletin (currently scheduled for 4.1.4 I believe) does have a new editor, which includes a POST auto-save function, but it's more for things like your browser crashing.
