Any one here family with Maya (auto desk)??

    Hey i have a few quetions about maya if anyone here uses it.

    1. Does it run on mac or PC?
    2. If both which operating system will run maya beter?
    3. Is it a self teachable program?

    1. I think it runs on both
    2. No idea, never tried Mac
    3. Depends on how determined you are. If you go through it step by step and spend a lot of time learning it, then I think you'll be able to learn it but if you expect to make great 3d immediately, then no.

    2. Depends on your hardware (RAM, processor, etc...)
    3. Sort of. Tons of books and good deal of tutorials out there but there is a big learning curve, especially if you are new to 3d software.
