Any one heard of Travian?

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has heard about the browser based game Travian?

It's a sought of a war game with hundreds of thousands of players from many countries.

I was hoping to find a few players here. I am currently playing the speed server.

Yeah. I've heard about it but people say it's kinda boring and time waste, it's nothing like shooting bullets and snipers at your opponent..

 

I've heard about it, but never tried to play it ( no time for games )

 

Well it does start out to be boring but as the game enters mid stage (20-30 days) things turn very exciting. I just checked, their site says they have 3 million players in 150 game worlds.

I personally know people who spend 100's of $$ on buying advantage (gold) in the game.

 

It's quite popular, but since I'm already spending most of my day in front of my pc... well, you know

 

its a great game, i play it all the time. They are advertising heavely currently, i have seen it's ads on many sites. I guess they are geo-targeting some countries...

 

ı've played travian and other web-based mmorpgs but it's boring after some days and all other mmorpgs too because you do the same thing all the time

 

Have you ever reached end game or the farmers didn't let you?

 

Can we earn $$$ from the game too?

 

Hi there...well...i've heard of it.....pretty much actually...
I'm from Romania, and here it has a lot of ads, especially on the net. I ended up hating the game only for its ads..so...you ain't gonna have me as a player, that's for sure..

 

I have hrd abt this from my brother ! duno much about that instead of knowing that its some kinda game !

 

yea I've played it, but not any more, it got boring!

Yes they are targeting europe and asia. Even my whole day goes in front of it from 8 AM to 11 PM :d

Well the game lasts 1 year (4months on speed server) so it does start out boring but turns very thrilling during mid-game when alliance wars pick up.

oh yeah, a bunch of my friends/classmates used to play travian. actually, i still see lots of people playing it in the library (lol!)

at one point a friend of mine was so addicted she would set alarms in the middle of the night and day and either wake up or leave school just to check her account. it looked pretty fun though!

 

Sames the case with me.

 

oh really? xD i never really took the time to understand the game - i'm sure after a while it gets pretty addicting. that's a time waster i definitely don't need though!
