Any one heard of blowouthosts.com I am looking to buy

If you have any one on your servers that may send out spam dont go with this company..

Violation of BlowOut Hosts's SPAM policy will result in severe penalties.
b. First violations of this policy will result in an "Administrative Fee" of $250 and your account will be reviewed for possible immediate termination. A second violation will result in an "Administrative Fee" of $500 and immediate termination of your account. Users who violate this policy agree that in addition to these "Administrative" penalties, they will pay "Research Fees" not to exceed $175 per hour that BlowOut Hosts personnel must spend to investigate the matter. PLEASE, DO NOT SPAM from your account.

I guess i keep looking.. I wanted to get a server up by this weekend.

I dont support spam at all but in a shared hosting environment it is bound to happen once or twice..

Anyone hosting websites or services on their server that support spammers or cause any of our IP space to be listed in any of the various Spam Databases will have their server immediately removed from our network.

Better hope your server does not get dos attacked either.

Bandwidth usage abuse: If you the "sole" account owner uses alot of bandwidth your account can be capped to keep the performance of the server load. If your account is attacked by a Denial of service, your account can be suspended untill a investigation has taken place and you may be pentalized by these following actions can take place:
# First Abuse Violation: Pay $30.00 reconnection fee and possible account suspension and (or) termination.
# Second Abuse Violation: Pay $60.00 reconnection fee and possible account suspension and (or) termination.
# Thrid Abuse Violation: Pay $100.00 reconnection fee and possible account suspension and (or) termination.
# Fourth Abuse Violation: Pay $150.00 reconnection fee and possible account suspension and (or) termination.

 

Why are they going to investigate a ddos attack ? It makes no sence, instead of just blocking them out

 

I dont, know it makes no since, but they have this set of tos hidden and is not on the web set only after you get ready to check out.

It's amazing how webhosting companies trick their client's like this! Not only inside the webhosting business, but services like Facebook and Youtube does the same thing!

Shame how the businesses has turned out these days

 

We can deliver up to 32 ips for free with a justification. Bigger packages will cost EUR 5 për month per 16 ip´s.

Its not about the price, its just about the fact that there is a worldwide IP shortage!

Ontopic: No company should charge a client if they get attacked in any way.

 

Most of the links are not working, and I can't find a phone number , incase if you need emergency you may want to call them. I recommend you to buy DEDICATED SERVERS from well known companies like caro, fdc, ( ofcourse you have ) layeredtech etc

Don't go for cheap price. It may be scam and I think they are resellers or doing collocation .

Yeah I love caro. but i dont like my eggs all in the same basket.. LOL we have been with Caro for almost a year and have nothing but good things to say about them.. The head support guy Dave is awesome and has bent over backwards for us.. Hes on our speed dial (LOL)

Well we have decided to buy 2 more 8 core servers from caro.. I may in a few weeks look at your servers again for our over seas customers..

If any one needs a server with great support go to Caro.net talk to Mark Memmer in sales or on Yahoo (his IM as well) and tell him Jason from IwhiC sent you and he will get you a awesome deal.. we have been with them for almost year now.. we do have other servers at other data centers as I said I dont like my eggs all in one basket LOL but the support out of the 5 data centers we have Caro is hands down the best..

The one I was offering has higher clockspeed - 2.33 Ghz.

Is the 4000 GB = 2000 in + 2000 Out ? or 4000 in & 4000 Out ?

We have a 2.33 Dual Quad core. I really can not see the speed increase.
Maybe if you compared the 2.0 to the 2.66 side by side then you could see the speed. But for a Host to even host on 8cores is not common.

Shocking with the price now a days. But never or less at $332.50 Per server I could not say no..

BW is Total used. We have not had any issues up or down.
