Depending on the niche youtube can be VERY good. Like with gaming *ahem* Seriously though yes you can make a fortune with video marketing and it is getting bigger and bigger as an alternative to article marketing and writing tons of content. For instance if you get your video to go viral promoting a product... Get started and see for yourself. If you are new use Windows movie maker to make your videos - you can look yo tutorials on how to do this on...well... youtube of all places! When you write your description for your video - make sure you have a good landing page and also put your link first in the description. Not an affiliate link it should go straight through to your landing page i.e -- http://www.yourlandingpage . com -- Check out this page for more info on "yourniche" and some KILLER tips and tricks. Also little tip - write a long description for better rankings in the search engines and make sure that you put your link first so you get clickthroughs. Now go and see if it works for you. Chris
Yes, like with subliminal and these free affiliate videos *ahem cough cough* *edit; oh man, thats pretty shameless, don't tell my mum! As Chris said above it can be an excellent resource. I see a lot of those simple slideshows on youtube, some with decent views going to affiliate based landing pages - very simple to setup... also we added video resources lately as we saw a number of affiliates making the effort to make their own promotional / infomercial style videos and sending decent clicks / making sales with us. I think it is a (not completely, but largely) untapped market - EVERYONE and his dog does article marketing, and this is because it is proven over and over and very easy to get started in, but almost no-one considers doing similar with video marketing. In reality though you can take a similar approach to article marketing: Make your video, and upload it. Make sure your video has a keyword based title Tag your video with relevant keywords Write a mini description for your video with your keyword in it Then do what you would do with articles - BUILD BACKLINKS, of course link to your video with the anchor text as the keyword you want to rank for (the title of your video), and this will help you to get picked up by the search engines, and if you have a decent quality video then the more you get picked up the more viral you could go and get posted on other peoples sites etc too. Like anything though it will take time, if youre going to do it don't just make / post one video, do 10, backlink them all, then do another 10 (youll be able to do this next 10 in half the time) and then evaluate where youre going right and wrong, which are getting views, and which are sending traffic and MAKING SALES - then start to scale these types up, make more of them, do them better etc. If you just make one video and post it youre unlikely to get any result really so do it on a bigger scale to give yourself some stats to compare Good luck Dan
Getting videos to rank ... not easy. Something i have been working on improving for a couple months now.
most watched videos on you-tube are those related to entertainment so do u think that a video about making money on click bank will get 1000000 views ?
I know plenty of people who LOVE youtoube and use it to their advantage, but as with everything, make sure you know what you do and why! Just doing something might not give you the financial future you would like.
Youtube Marketing works for a lot of people. Sometimes it is about quality sometimes about quantity. Make sure you have relevant titles, add maybe some symbols that will make the person searching your title to pop up in the list. Use the maximum number of tags allowed and do not forget to put your link in the description and as well to watermark your video with the link. Also, you have to remember that not all product work with this kind of marketing. The last thing you must have in mind that if product normally converts 1 in 40 it does not mean that it will convert the same with youtube, since most of the traffic is not targeted, and also not all viewers come from 'buying' countries like USA, Canada, UK and Australia.
I had some good success making sample videos from my guitar lesson course that was on clickbank. Give the viewer a taste of the product if possible and be personable.
not to jack but to add, i think i should try this for my own CB product. never thought of YT as a portal for it. thanks op
