I believe they are a long term solution for Realtors. Very very good at what they do, Heck check his ranking #5 for Real Estate on google < if that doesnt say something then, Well thats it. The forum is good aswell (learnt a few tricks there ) I've not dealt with them in any way shape or form, But i've been on the forum for about a 1 year or so.
So, An Agent has to give them home page link to be included in the directory! is that correct? Is that the reason they are #5 or is that of good quality content that they got to that position? Not really sure but, the rule to get listed in the directory is to give them a home page link. In which case, the relator may go shitting but sure would help www.RealestateWebMsters.com to be listed on the top of the world. Alexa rank under 10K - they really took advantage of Realtors (who are not that Tech or SEO guys)
They may not have taken advantage as there directory might well be highly ranked for "real Estate" in local areas and it's a small price to pay to be in the directory. I'm sure it's a paid directory now but if you buy or have them develop a website they might require a homepage link back to you. Not sure, theres other people on this forum who either have worked or know the owner so they maybee can shed some light on this for you. But if you look at some of the websites they have developed for realtors whatever they want most would give. They help them start to finish and i have heard some of there cliens are no1/2/3/4 for "STATE" REAL ESTATE in google so if they get you there then good on them i say. Now how much do they charge ?
Some I read is the price they charge is too much and not good enough sites. If they are in business for a while and few of their customers get to the top that is not a big deal. Discuss Real Estate Blog search for that term, you will my site in top 3, that I bought on DP for $40.00 (you search and you will get the thread) Less than an year ago, when I don't even know how to install wordpress. Paying some guy a reducules amount of money is not the one that gets you to the top of Google. Try that term and search that url on DP you will get the sale thread. (That url is not even registerd for a year as of now) #5 in Yahoo and #2 in Google. Just a $40.00 investement - Including the url with one full year registration.
but... How many people search "Real Estate" compared with "discuss real estate blog" It's not comparable in any way shape or form whatsoever. these guys are not trying for your term, it's just part of being that good/big of a site thats all, they'll not get any traffic worth spending time doing anything for that keyword/s
I agree they rank well. Only because they get back link from innocent Real Estate Agents. I checked the real estate agents who give homepage link to be on the link page 3 clicks away from the home page. Try to go and look for agents in their directory. They all gave a home page link to We live on Realtors- We take their money No wonder they rank high (decepting the non Tech Real Estate Agents)
Any one with real knowledge is welcome to say, if you can prove that I am wrong. I can give the examples. Real esteate F* masters. They have 43000 back links - from innocent Realtors. Most of them from Home pages, let me know if you need examples. Thanks
