    Axis Bank is a Ideat Bank.Their staff is so afraid of Foreign transfers! Once I give them a 1000$ appx. Lebanon cheque payable at a bank in Beirut and their Forex depratment guy face was to been seen.They don't have a clue where to send it for clearing (Neither their manager know!),Finally HDFC people take that cheque and It go credited in 30 days.

    anyway back to NEFT ,Axis bank is another story.They close NEFT online between 5 TO 7 PM and only during these hours they start crediting any incoming NEFT.

    thanks theonly1 for sharing your experience! From all the banks i have seen, i would say that HDFC is the best and other private banks including ICICI and Axis suck!
