Any One can tell me --- Web site Hosting & Search position

Hi webmasters,

I want to change my website hosting due to some trouble in server like "Time out" error. Is there any change in my site's PR and SERP? Or remain same?

it is speculated that when your ip changes with your new host you may take a slight drop (temporary). If your website now is crashing alot then just go for it, you have nothing to lose.

 

Go for it. The less downtime the better.

It is absolutely normal even for a big website to change it's IP from time to time. As far as my personal experience goes, I've been moving sites from one hosting server to another and from one DNS to another and nothing affected my rankings. Only when I forgot to pay my hosting bill and the website went offline for 2 weeks I saw a major drop-down in rankings.

i dont think ip is any issue any more. it all depends upon your domain name.

 

I am pretty sure it will change but should bounce back.

 

try to add a 503 error page
