Are any of you guys and ladies too, into motorcycles and biking?

If so, what do you ride, what kind of bike, how long have you had it and what is it's primary use? i.e. Touring, commuting etc?

If you do not yet own your own motorcycle, but have always dreamed of owning your own bike, what would you like to buy and why?

Last but not least, to find a new or used motorcycle, where would you go to try to find one that fits your dream bike criteria?

Looking forward to seeing your answers.

My dad loves riding motorcycles, in fact he is getting a new one on Saturday.. He is really into harley davidson's.

I do enjoy riding on them from time to time, but I would never buy one.

    Do you have a motorcycle?

I do but only in our subdivision. It's dangerous riding a bike on the main road in my country.

    Not anymore unfortunately no.

Although the roads here are made for motorcycling, lots of hills and great corners, plus of course the lanes here are extremely narrow with often 8-10' solid granite walls on each side and only on average 7' wide, believe it or not, on these very narrow lanes, the speed limit is 60mph and is two way, a motorcycle comes in very handy on them, especially at night when the full beam of the headlights of oncoming vehicles and other traffic, can be seen ahead reflecting around the corners of the granite walls.

Generally speaking it's a lot safer to go faster at night here than in the day time when you cannot see what is coming the other way.
