since i signed up mysql errors pop up at my vb forum/web directory, etc
to be more detailed the scripts are sometimes loose connection to database
i checked vb forum and at servage support gave the guys a thread on vb forums where this was discussed and some variable, mysql_timeout_limit or something needs to be set to a higher value

the connection dies randomly and every time i sent a support ticket in bout 2-3mins got the reply everything is working fine

this is really getting irritating for me and my forums users also, and im beginning to loose my temper, support response time is great but what does saying "everything is fine on our end could you please check again" help me with?

has any of you guys encountered a problem like this?

servage is not for mysql intensitive sites if you want performance, they are good for static content though

Their clustered shared hosting solution isn't as effective as it apparently looks.

maybe because clusters work great if company intentions are to offer quality rather than quantity.

Yea...but see how (mt) improved their grid server hosting solutions...they had a lot of teething problems initially, but now I hear they are running quite smoothly.
