I break SEO down into like three or four simple summaries. If I am missing something please clue me in. 1. Links(backlinking)- Links from credible sites on your site and links on their site back to yours. By credible, I mean they are using white hat techniques and hopefully they are large with good content. Also, having your website appear in forums like this one is effective for SEO. 2. Content- Your content should be relevant, good, and fresh. I also understand that having your key words somewhere in your literature is a good idea. 3. key words/metatags: I don't fully understand this yet but these get a lot of attention. I suppose key words that you have high position with our big. Competing for common key words is very difficult and I guess if your on a low budget it would be best to pick more obscure words? Your key words should be relevant and not a huge huge amount of words. Is there anything missing? Please increase my knowledge. Thanks.
