Any new forum softwares out there?

Looking to test new, alternative, and self-hosted (none of those new ones that force you to use their software on their servers, unless it's set up like Vanilla - with a self-hosted option) forum softwares that have been released during the past couple years.

So far I've seen esotalk, which looks cool but development hasn't moved along much, Discourse, which also looks cool but I can't test it yet, and Vanilla, which I rather like, but I'm still looking for more awesome ones.

So if you know of some new ones, recommend them! Thanks

 

I think VBulletin & IPBoard are the best 2. Although, they're both paid options..

 

Two things:
1. These aren't new, they've been around for the last 10 or so years.
2. vBulletin greatly enjoys having relations with giant mutant gorilla privates.

 

I used to develop for IPB, but not sure of any new ones.

 

It's not new but you should give Burning Board a look. It's actually pretty nice but not many people know about it.

 

I know about it, imo IP.Board is way better than WBB. I'm aware of most of the forum scripts made/started before 2010, and now I'm looking for something new.

Aware of that one as well.

 

Not sure when it was released, but I believe Telligent Community is fairly new.
