any money from videogame sites?

g of making a videogame site, anyone had any success with this category?

 

a friend was making some money of a videogame review site, i cant remember the domain i dont think it exists anymore. he made like 100$ a month from adsense with a small user base until he got banned for invalid clicks. he tried some other services but with his small user base he could barely make 50$, so he dumped the site. honestly if you have the traffic CJ can be amazing i know people who are making 50$ a day on a single affiliates link (i think its amazon).

 

whats CJ? Im just wondering if a videogame site is even worth doing.

then what are the best ways to make money with adsense. I just have a frustrated feeling lately........

 

The more effort you put on your content , the more money. If you just simply copy the code anywhere else and paste it in your blog, then you cant expect much money from that.

 

I have a video game website called Fragbucket (i cant post live links yet - im new. its for sale btw) at the moment its only got gogleads on it which is going to change as gamers are adsmart and wont click the ads very often. im thinking amazon/affiliate links

 

so should I target small niches or what?

 

I get very low CTR with my gaming site (more of a tech-oriented one than mainstream), and low CPC. But I do get decent traffic.

 

I've had video game sites for 11 years. Earnings are in the pits!!

Making around $200/mo with our gaming website (AdSense alone), currently. Been open 4 months.

 

i got about 100 per months for flash games sites the earning for such site is around 2 cents a click.

 

2 cents a click seem to be very good, when my click for music are under 1 cent

 

What about Arcade sites? Income?
