There are many places like Odesk, digitalpoint marketplace, elance, etc that allow us to hire people to do backlinking for us. Does anyone have any success or pointers on how to best find people to do this kind of work cheaply without too much back and forth? Maybe I'm missing something, but it always seems more work to deal with some of them than it is to do the link building myself.
I don't have much experience with it but I have read a lot about internet marketing in general and that includes outsourcing. Basically start with small orders and always save all your email conversations so that if there is any issues you can show it to whoever you need to like paypal and they often give back your money.
In addition to what s.tranger said, you'll need a service that protects your money with escrow as well. vWorker (RentACoder) offers all of that and more plus a real-time pay-per-hour model. With that model, you can watch what your contractor does and stop the job the minute you're not convinced s/he is performing the way s/he should.
Don't rely on cheap services and quality output. You can hire a company from signatures and will be nice experience to you.
You have to know the previous projects of the prospect company/individual for the job because there are some people who will try to make clients believe they are good for the job, will ask for a high rate, and turns out to give you poor reports
There are a lot of people on fiverr who offer to do thousands of backlinks, including .edu and .gov for only 5$. I am just not sure if those are quality backlinks.
i have vast experience with backlinksoutsourcing and i can tell you that its only good for article submission , social bookmarks , directoey submission etc... real backlinks will be usually very low quality with many outbound links
Be careful with outsourcing, you get always what you pay for and if these services give you only low quality links from bad neighborhoods they will do more harm than good to your sites, SY
I tried Odesk and it was a horrible experience. I asked for samples and got great ones back. So I hired the person. She then sent me copied content for her work. A lot of time was wasted. Since then, I developed my own team of writers and I have also used freelancer with good success.
I outsourced some work here at DP. Before I decided, I read all related posts and comments to that service. If there was a lot of positive posts, I gave it a shot.
Outsourcing is good when there's a clear structure, ''submit my 10 articles to these 10 article directories'' or ''write 10 articles on these 5 subjects''. Its not good when there's too much scope for error, interpretation, or definition as to whether the work has been completed, e.g. get me 200 good backlinks or make 100 blog comments (how do you know if they made the blog comments or they were deleted)
Your always better to outsource work to a company/freelancer, these websites can be great if you can find good workers, but be warned, too many people think they can get away with just taking peoples money and never providing any services, bare that in mind.
I really know these guys that can offer 1st page ranking for so many keywords. They only get paid on completion. You can send me a PM if you want more details.
Outsourcing business has a lot of advantage and disadvantage. You just need to be careful in choosing the right one. Always ask for the client references and samples so you could decide.
yes, many of them are good but hard to find a long term worker Anyway, i'm satisfy with the online freelance in overall but of course sometime we meet scammer
We have hired people to work for us on Elance. Easy to use as the platform is, it's really difficult to find one that can do the work just as required. Enough communication is necessary. Once you find a long term partner, life will become much easier for you. Hope you good luck.
As a rule of thumb, also with outsourcing: You get what you pay for. Do you really expect a decently written and researched article for example if you only pay a couple of dollars for it? SY
