    Need a bit of help before I pull my hair out.

    How do I edit the text at the top of this page where it says, live in August 2006, I put it there but god knows how. Cannot find it anywhere in joomla backend.

    Can add links ok.

    I just had a play with the version I have on localhost: don't know if it's exactly what you did, but it seems to me that you can change this text via the menu item.

    Go into your Menu | mainmenu list. Click on the 'Links' item then on the right, you should be able to set description text.

    Like I say, I don't know if that's what you changed, but I was able to change mine that way...

    you must edit your menu item description . i think it is related with your menu item . check it
