Any Joomla users here?

i have a couple of Joomla powered sites but my fav is directory-webhosting.com

 

I just started using Joomla, still playing around with it

 

Im a joomla newb also. Have had more experience in ecommerce open source scripts, but am branching into other projects away from straight selling products.
From what I see it has a great userbase and support forum, which led me to choose it over others.

 

Most of my sites are Joomla based ... I was a joomla fans since it was mambo

 

Does anybody use WYSIWYG editors to make changes to templates?

 

I'm using Dreamweaver to edit joomla template

my signature has 2 sites with joomla

 

I've just started up with Joomla, having a go on www.wolfmotherlyrics.com but for some reason I can't get a box of ads to show up on the left. If someone is really nifty with this and culd have a look for me that would be great

u need a better banner, more colorsm and u must see the width of ur website as it doesnt fit well on opera(maybe in other browsers as well)

i too had probe with SEF many days but finally i fixed .Joomla is best free and full support.

After a few days of playing around with joomla, I'm much more comfortable with it now

 

anybody know how to stop Joomla from putting the site name on every page?

example. if I goto an article on my page the browser shows

SiteName->Article Name

I run a couple of simple Joomla sites and an enterprise site which forced me to get my first ever dedicated server... Joomla is simple but if you really get into it the curve is steep & way fun

Ive just got started learning about Joomla I have heard of it and the way its supposed to make websites really easy to maintain, but Im having a few problems since Iam no programmer. I want a fully custom made template for a new site Im working on Joomla seems like the perfect solution, just want to know how do you design a template? I have dreamweaver and Im good with HTML but havent a clue with php. Can someone point me in the right direction? I have loads more to ask but this will do for now.

the .htaccess you need to make it writeable, go into your server and change it to "7 7 7".
