Any Joomla users here?

After going through a number of CMS's, I ultimately arrived at www.joomla.org. It was Mambo back then, but anyways, it's open source (free) and there are tons of super cool plugins available for it - extensions.joomla.org

Here are a couple of my Joomla sites:
    www.realitytvplus.com
    www.warpmyspace.com
    www.pornsiteinsider.com

Are there any other Joomla heads here?

i think you are talking about simple urls?? if so you can easily do it by installing JoomSEF and editing some code in .htaccess (all changes to be made are given in JoomSEF documentation)

Joomla is ok, but like most of these types of CMS systems, not completely flexible. I'm building a Joomla-based site at the moment, and the front-end has been complete customised (with 50% original coding), and the admin section redone too, JUST to allow for something other than the standard, rigid Joomla system. Never again! :)

(Although I have to admit, the result is kicking butt)

Most of my sites are Joomla based, check out the magazine component to be able to customise the way you add and display content.

All you need to do is rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess and make it writeable

I just moved my site over to Joomla. Although I have a few frustration points with it, I love it! It has expanded my ideas in so many ways of what I wanted my site to become.

Joomla SEF is great. It took some time to install, but hopefully search engines with pick my site up more easily.
