Can anyone from India confirm if it is still allowed or possible to upload funds from a local credit or debit card to your Skrill (Moneybookers) account?

I was informed that some banks like HDFC and ICICI have placed restrictions on the use of credit cards for foreign transactions, and this may affect uploading funds to Skrill.

I was wondering if RBI rules in any way prevent uploading funds in US Dollars to Skrill account.

They will manually verified, if you request. 15 days waiting period.
Just don't used moneybookers, they don't care about support to India. Even after open ticket, they respond like 13-15 days after, as well no buyer protection.
I really have worst experience with them, not recommended.

Skrill is good and I am using them for last 5-6 years when they were Moneybookers. It's good but their fee is on higher side when compared with PayPal. Yes you can add funds using you credit card only as your debit card cannot be used on sites like moneybookers/paypal and they tend to decline.

If it is not allowed to deposit through credit or debit card in skrill from india, you can use wire transfer method to upload your money in skrill from your local bank account using swift code.
