any indian tried xoom cash pickup

i know we can't send and receive money in same country from xoom. but anybody received money to india from outside with xoom, and if yes , what proof do punjab national banks ask for.

They ask for name and address proof. Your driving license would be enough.

pan card with your bank passbook or passport for address verification.

Its better to go with whatever you have and xerox of all proofs.


Not all branches will support you or spend some time getting your money..
only limited branches in selected cities.

Two days back, I was able to get money in Bangalore KG road branch , after visiting some 4 banks. For me they asked only for license, that officer there is very supportive.

can i use voter id or bank passbook for , is xoom.com allowing cash pick.when i contacted them they said that they have stoped intra india money transfer..

I tried to transfer amount through xoom but its reversed to the account. And latterly I came to know that xoom got banned for Indian users.

 

Get someone in US, your friend relative or client to take your paypal funds, they could easily use paypal money, and ask them to send money to you through xoom.

Xoom has pickup option, door delivery and bank deposit for selected banks.

Xoom stopped intra India money transfer, so this can be the best way if you need money your paypal money real quick. you will loose some paypal commision but xoom has better currency conversion rates than paypal.

RBI cant stop our wellwishers send money to us, but you can get only 12 payments/year and within some limit as per their rules.

 

yes intra india xoom cash pickup is not allowed, but you can give funds in paypal to a trustworthy person and he can send you cash via xoom to india

Cash Pickups are not working at my city. It's Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
I've tried it many times but when I go to PNB, they always given me DD(Demand Draft) not Cash. DD is payable to A/C only.

Cash pickup was working well when they were using Instant-Cash as their partner and I was getting cash within next 20-25 minutes but there is no way to get cash from Xoom for me. I now switched to WU to get cash.

 

where do you get money from, does anybody from outside india send you money?
or you send money to yourself with paypal to xoom cash pickup?

 

I was getting funds from outside of India.

Between Intra India cash pickups are not available at Xoom from start. They support bank transfers only for Intra India transfers but now they have closed it too
