    well my elance says $3000 limit for paypal
    and paypal says $500
    so i always transfer $499 from elance

    RBI had set $500 receiving limit. Later, they changed to $3000.
    So, now you can receive upto $3000 per transaction and transfer to bank account in India

    that's cool because the main problem with limitation is distributing money to local freelancers
    many of them have to wait because of this problem
