Any incomes from arcade website?

    Hi,

    I was wondering if any who have/had an arcade site that make any income? If so I would like to know the numbers (only if you don't mind sharing =))

    What I mean numbers are your ads, I know it's all different depends what type of publisher program you have.

    You can reply something like...
    10/month = adsense = 6 months (since it opens)
    or
    100+/month = yahoo = 2 years

    you don't need to give me exact,

    I would appreciate if you help me out.

    I am thinking about buying a arcade script and maybe start it with someone share 50/50 (if it doesn't make much on ad, there's really no point for partnership)

    There's more info on my mind for partnership of course... I just want to do some research before I think deeper ^-^

    As with most websites, the income will depend on the traffic you recieve, and because of that you should focus on advertising the website heavily, as there is some big competition out there. Also, you will need a catchy, memorable domain name, as a lot of the people who will use games websites will know other ones, so you have them to compete with...

    Things to consider... What type of arcade games are you thinking of... What age bracket are you after - Where to do advertise. If you are looking for the younger crowd, then myspace and utube are great resources to get your message out there.

    I am planning to run a family friendly arcade website. There will be no porn/adult games on it. It would be great for older kids, teenagers, young and old people.

    If someone is interested in partner with me, I will buy the script, host it. I need a partner to manage it, add games, market it.

    I will probably do most of the managing part and add games also. But a need someone to add games and advertising it too.

    Share will probably be 50/50 from ads. It would be a long term gig. If someone is interested I want someone to be serious about it.

    You can make alot of money with any site, just got to have good marketing skill's in high school i took business, I'll help you out but for a price.
