Any ideas why I get visitors but no page impressions?

I have 5 sites on adsense and only 4 sites show up as active channels. The fifth site never shows up as ever getting clicks or anything.
I then set up analytics on it and I am showing visitors (not a large amount, but it gets some) and still shows no impressions, so obvious no clicks. Since i cannot click my own ads I can't even test what would happen if I get a click.

it might be that the ads are not displayed properly or there is too less traffic say about 10 per day.

I thing the visitors may be Search BOTs like Google, Yahoo, MSN Live, ete., These are not considered as impressions for AdSense reporter..
Search bots frequenty monitoring websites to include in search results, these are not acts like normal web-browsers (User-Agent), only GRABS the content from your web page for further processing.

i understand that, but I have put analytics on there, so I am actually seeing the visitors. I am getting referrals, searches, and direct traffic!

As far as traffic goes, whether you receive 1 impression per day or over a 1000, if someone clicks an ad, you should see it counted. However, as apsam29 said, BOTs don't count.

Try using a tool like AwStats if your hosting provide has it. It should breakdown your visitors for you and give you very good stats. You'll also see the type of bots that visit your site under the "Robots/Spiders visitors (Top 10)" section.

And remember, NEVER click your own ads...Google (Big Brother) knows all! :)
