It has been a month since LinkVestor goes online and we have achieved some positive results in this Link Investment industry. However, it seems that everything has slowed down.. I am thinking of utilizing Adwords to advertise this site but holding it back because most people still do not understand how link investment works.. and hence, the conversion will be extremely low. PPC will be my last option.. I have tried articles publishing, press release and forums advertising. I would appreciate any ideas to further promote this site for greater reach.
I assume your objective is to sell some more links? Try ebay. -Buy posts on SEO blogs -Buy ads on webmaster related websites -Adwrds should be fine as long as you go for a narrow niche eg invest into backlink. You should then be able to get targeted clicks. -Have a look on adbrite, you might be able to find related websites you can advertise on. Good idea by the way.
first of all faily optimized site then check all broken link and modify all broken link after that submit site to more serch engine and directories can achieve goal
No offense buddy but you need to make sure you know what you are talking about before giving advise. You will just end up confusing anyone new to SEO/marketing.
Great idea KCTan, I made an investment. I hope it takes off for you, me, and everyone involved. It looks like another, 'wish I would have thought of it'.
one thing i tried was to make a video or a collection of images made into a slide show and then water marked them with my URL then posted it on youtube and google video within 24hrs they had been viewed over 10`000 times and my traffic increased 10fold
I Can Make You adaily Great Traffic Throght Sending Your Links To my Big YahooGroups and it is really Cheap If You Would Like To Try Iam Here
I would hype the free link offer and make it more prominent on the site. The color scheme doesn't work for me. I thought I had landed on a cartoon. make the site more attractive for more people to be associated with.
Agreed with some points here. Maybe you could make popular video content and upload it to Youtube, put your domain name on it.Cost? Some of your time and it's FREE Pay-per-post could be an option too,you could try some reputable tech blogger.Ask them to describe, how your system/SEO works.
Thanks for the useful suggestions, guys I will consider the pay-per-post stuff and see how well it goes. REP Distributed
Adwords is the fastest way to test a market. I would try PPC first and expand my marketing efforts if it was successful.
I too don't find the color scheme to be appropriate for this niche. Anyway, I think one of the biggest reasons for your bad response rates may be that novices to this concept are not really shown exactly why and how this can be valuable for them. Trying to think like a novice that has been directed to the concept site through a press release or recommendation by someone, my first thought would be nothing but: "What is this about?". Having this question in mind, I start to scan the site and get my first impression, which is: * cartoon-like, colorful design; nothing professional or serious * A heading telling me the link price comes right after that. When I read this, I want to know what that means. Unfortunately, I don't see any connection, association or help there. * Then there come a couple of links with different colors, which first makes me think that this is another concept site like the Million Dollar Homepage, or any derivative. - at this point, I am still confused so I expect some short but to-the-point summary of the purpose of all this. What comes next though is just a list of the features or advantages you get when you ........ do what? Invest? What is missing here is a quality summary of your services. Imagine that most visitors just don't know what "investing in links" would mean so you have to make this one clear here. Visitors would ask themselves: * What do you do on this site? * What do I get in return? * What's different? Answering these questions by listing advantages like "Affiliate Bonus- Get rewarded with LinkPoints by encouraging active members to signup as LinkVestors." just makes me more confused than before. Unless I got the time now to find out what exactly this is about, I would leave the site. Do you have a business plan for this concept? If so, and if it is more convincing than the site, try to invest time in conveying the message first rather than spreading the word about the site. When this is done, you can settle for all the good ideas coming from the posts above.
Thank you very much for the very valuable feedback, sebastianrs You are right that I have been focusing on marketing without truely taking time to consider will visitors understand this concept on their first visit.. I will work on this immediately and come back again. Truely appreciate your feedback.
You are very welcome. I for myself found the concept interesting but doing it like that can damage the whole business growth process. Marketing usually first seeks to find flaws and weaknesses before promotion begins I look forward to seeing the result.
