contentking78's right a free logo to so many first customers would be nice. You can also advertise that your company can help you though the logo creation process for clients who don't know exactly what they want. You could offer various color combinations of their logo to show what it would look like in of course the different colors. Just some ideas..
I think one way is to offer a professional logo free for say 20 people in exchange for a link back to your site if they use the logo. That way you will get some advertising and the person will get something free. It is a great way to promote your logos and get back links to your site. It is also a great way to build your portfolio.
Well I think you can try to ask for logo help in contest forum here. Some of them are awesome logo maker.
Honestly, your better not offering anything free unless it's to people you know and your not making it known on your website/online. Unless of course you are getting something back for it (e.g. a good backlink, advertising, customer referals). If you have a good portfolio then you can find quite a lot of work on forums, pointing people to your portfolio as examples of what you have done. Then there are also other ways to get customers, but forums are good when your just starting out. Logos are needed by lots of people, they are in high demand. I hope you do well
giving ( making ) logos online for free ( say 2 logos ) and a reasonable charge after that will be good
Thanks guys, seems a lot of these ideas are going around the concept of free logos. I've made well over 150 free logos for people on this forum, but at the time I had no site to advertise! I think a refferal for a free logo is a nice idea, along with for a backlink . What about offline promotion, would flyers work? Thanks again, -Hecky.
