Hi, My site is only a few months old, and I have performed the standard on page and off page seo for my site, but it seems to only be ranking on Google (not yahoo or bing). While these sites have very low traffic in most countries, I would have thought that Google's algorithms would have taken longer for me to rank on their engine. Not complaining there but this whole ignored by google thing has me intrigued. Anyone have any ideas? Bruce
Yahoo is slow compared to google in terms of Indexing therefore it will take some time before you are ranked on Yahoo. So don't worry and keep doing your best SEO.
even though its been 8 weeks? if this is all thats happening, its amazing they are still in business?
If you are on page 1 on google then you most certainly will rank amongst the top #3 on yahoo, just be patient
It happens quite often, I think. So don't worry about it, you are not the only one "ignored" by them.
sometimes it takes longer for yahoo to index ur site. but if you are ranking quite good on google then i think that is more important because we all know that organic traffic from google is way better than in yahoo
Submit a sitemap in XML, that should help some too. When you are done doing that, ping the site to let the bots know stuff is up.
Yahoo is slow but steady. Finding rank on Yahoo SERP is to herd than other. But Yahoo ranking is not fluctuating in short of time.
Yahoo results are mostly based on Google algorithm. IF you are on Google, you will get yourself ranked in yahoo automatically, just have patience. Mine got listed on yahoo after one month of getting indexed on the big G. I guess Bing takes much more time than yahoo. @kiddoman : I like your signature the rip thing
