My site is new, just set up several days ago. It's about luxury product. There's only few product pages in it. I have no idea how to promote and get a good rank about this site. Anyone who can give me some advice ?
well if could share the address of your site, i could point out seo related issues. Since your site is new, most probably it will be in Google's sandbox so i suggest u go for the low handing fruit first( that's long tail keywords.) Also you could consider running a ppc campaign which will allow you to test out keywords which work and which do not. Based on that you can use those keywords for your seo campaign fine tuning.
Start to submit links to sites where the submission guidelines are not so strict, for instance social bookmarking sites or some directories. Think about how you could extend your content so that later your site would be accepted at more reputable sites too.
Be patient! Keep building quality content. Tweak/improve every aspect of your site. Build back links. Worry about further promotion after you have built something worthy of the effort. If you are in the luxury market your site should be luxurious too. After only a few days I suspect it is not. Potential buyers of luxury will not be sticking around on a bare bones site. Good luck.
