Does anyone here know why our search result vary a lot on weekly basis? For example, this week my search result is in Page 2, next week I checked again, sometime will jumped to Page 9 or 10. Any idea? Please help. Thanks

Google Index new content every second. So it is normal for the results to change. And Google loves updated articles more.

It's because there are always new sites and pages so Google is constantly crawling for new content.

Site's position in google's search results are determined based on more factors. An important factor I think is pagerank.

Google indexes BILLIONS of pages. There are TENS OF BILLIONS of links between those pages. To index them is an ongoing effort. The algorithm they use is probably pretty complicated. Can you now answer the question yourself?

If your site is relatively new and started ranking for your targeted keywords recently, it is normal to see some fluctuations in ranking. It happens with any site not having enough related backlinks to establish a fixed ranking. Moreover, if you're targeting a competitive keyword phrase, there might be other sites trying to outrank the top positions in the SERPs.
