I added my URL and did a sitemap for my website and Yahoo still has not indexed it. I got authenicated on my site maps but my site still does not show up in the search engine. It was indexed in Google the day after I submitted it.

My backlinks from other sites show up on Yahoo but not my domain site.

    Is it a new site?
You can try to put it in your sig.

Only Yahoo knows, but don't worry too much if your site is only two week old.
Have you seen on you logs the yahoo crawler ? ("http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/slurp") if yes, your site will be indexed soon

Well, how long ago did you submit it? Two weeks ago when your first started or more recently? And is this a domain transfer or a brand new site? That's important too (if there were any problems with the old site). If all is kosher I'm sure Yahoo will have it up soon. Good luck!

Wait do not resubmit site. It takes longer and longer for yahoo and google to list sites and update them so just sit back and get more links to the site.

Don't worry about it. If you aren't on google then you worry.

Look for a thread or some guy who does $5.99 for 200 submission. Get him to submit to all of them you'll start getting crawled. Which one in your sig?

It is the Frugal Wiz site, I have been spending lots of time adding to directories, but was just curious why Yahoo is not indexing the page when MSN and Google both did with in two days.... I am not too worried, just curious:cool:

Another strange thing about Yahoo. My site has some good positions in google for certain phrases. It is indexed by Yahoo as well as by Google. But for the same phrases in yahoo it is not even among the first 500 results :-(
