    Depends on your traffic. Adsense would be an easy option. Amazon CPM Ads could also be worth to try. You could also make a fan shop and sell T-Shirts or other flying related merchandise. Some flight provider offer affiliate promotion for their tickets. You could take a look at various affiliate networks and advertise their flight tickets.

    Aviation site, nice. You need to sign up for flight affiliates. The hard one is CJ.com, some airlines will accept, some will deny you, but keep on trying. Easier is to sign up with skyscanner.net, momondo.com or other airline booking site. They have great affiliates and you could convert nicely with your site. Let me know how it goes!
