Any idea how to recover lost partitions?

I just lost two partitions. Cant access them. windows xp says drives are unformated. My rest 5 working fine.

Anyone recently dealed with this problem? Maybe problem is lost of MBR record?

Heh, thanks. That is what I did at first place. I found myself dowloading this and that, trying, for hours. Without results.

 

I had that happen too - you will have big problems if you want to recover the larger files.
I got about 40 % of my data back by 'quick formatting' the partition, then using a file recovery tool found on google.
The larger files were gone or corrupt, but a lot of documents and stuff i had written (smallish) were all recoverable.
