    Well if you got it online it would be the same as elsewhere.

    I didn't realise you could get Rams for laptops, you do realise they smell:eek:

    Where are you going to stick up the RAM o your Laptop? .. Open your Laptop.. Remove Older Ram and replace it with a higher capacity new RAM ? ... Expect your Laptop not to work after that, even if it does, you will need to do a lot of BIOS tweaks.

    And if your RAM is built in with your Motherboard forget upgrading it

    I Have a HP Pavillion laptop which has a capacity of 2 gb ram and i currently have 1 gb so ill have to add it to the slot available for additional ram i suppose. WOnt this work ?

    The cost of RAM meant for laptop will be approximately double the price of that used in desktop. If you like online purchase, ebay is the best option; otherwise go to your neighborhood store to buy one.

    Instead of buying online better you contact nearest dealer of computer peripherals in your city. Its not that much costly. But keep one thing in your mind that if your current RAM make and new RAM make differ from each other then maybe it will not work properly.
