I agree with axeny that reviews of new gadgets would be helpful. Also, tips on using those gadgets, gadgets that don't work and should be avoided, finding the best prices on new gadgets, definitions of the gadgets - what they do, etc. Look at other tech sites to see the kind of information they offer and go from there.
If you are not confident about generating unique content on your own, hire a writer who specializes in your niche. Reviewing latest gadgets is a good idea but there's more to it than just that. Get someone who deals in this niche exclusively and either go JV or agree on a pay per post. If you want to work on your own, i would suggest reporting latest news items in the field, writing opinion pieces about the latest tech and reviewing things. If you have easy access to the latest stuff, you can become a full on review blog. Hope that helps.
