Any idea about XOOM ???

    Hi friends,

    Anyone have any idea about XOOM ? Specially i am am asking to the Indian friend.
    How to transfer the money from paypal to xoom? Is it chargeable??
    Is it possible to transfer money from paypal to Xoom?
    XOOM is reliable??
    If any one pay me from paypal to XOOM how long it will take to get the cash on my hand?

    By the way, i am from India.
    Please help me out..

    It used to be possible.

    It is not possible anymore, for some months now, if your paypal account is Indian.

    1. Just signup at xoom with your name and email address to transfer funds from your paypal account to xoom. It is chargeable ofcourse. Check it here for their charges for various funds transfer.

    2. Xoom is reliable as so many indian paypal users using it since last few months without having any problem. Search this section for more info.

    3. If you transfer money to india from your indian paypal verified account then you must have to select bank transfer or check delivery as disburshment option. Don't go with pick up option because they do not allow this for this type of transection. It will take max. 5-6 days for funds reach in your hand through xoom.

    I have been using xoom since past few months. I have a friend in some other country with a paypal account. So what i do is i transfer funds to his paypal account and he send me through xoom and it hardly takes 5-6 hours to get money in my hand.

    However if u wanna use direct transfer from paypal to ur bank account via xoom, u might need to wait for 4-7 days depending n ur bank and weekdays.

    Xoom money transfers are not allowed from same country to same country.

    they are allowed, i mean u can transfer to ur own bank account but u cant select pick up within the same country.

    yes it is possible and xoom is a reliable payment processor. I think you can only send a maximum of 1000$ per transaction if youre a first timer there.

    Yes you start with 1000$ limit but they increase your limits based on your transactions. My limit is 2500$ for now.
