Any idea about this effect ?

    I am not such a great designer but I really liked this effect with squares and I want to apply it to an other image.

    I will be happy if you can share a thought about that or point me to a tutorial.

    Throw a yellow layer with soft-light filter and throw down the opacity a little. As for the squares, seems it was done 'by hand'. Draw in the lines, then on a few random squares make a new layer, fill a square with white, and throw down opacity some to give it a more faded appearance.

    As for the squares, it's just a bunch of squares filled with different shades of yellow, clear and white then toning down the opacity.

    Hey guys, thanks for giving me and idea how to make such effect MOVING with javascript.... ;-) Will try to substitute flash in this matter... We will see about browser compatibility, though...

    actually this effect looks like chess board. It is better to place white squares using random.
