    IBP is decent & fast enough software, I often use it for checking rankings, submission to search engines, finding related sites for link exchange, directory submission.....

    It's pretty good, it won't make you an SEO rockstar if you don't know what you are doing but is a brilliant tool for reports, keyword analysis, link analysis and some insight into page strength of competitors compared to project pages.

    I have been using it for about 3 years and am pretty happy with it

    You could use it for finding link partners no problem, and it is good for seeing what is linking to your site and competitors.

    Personally I don't use it for link building more analysis but as I say it can go a long way in helping you find link partners
