A 15 year old kid, whos banned from google adsence, has absolutley no money to pay for advertising, is in debt about 50$. Owns a site with 10 views a day, has prior knowledge of PHP/MYSQL (web languages). Is very unpaitent, doesn't know how to work with affliates, etc .. Absoulutly no knowledge of advertising, except if you count spamming large forums until they ban me and owns an arcade site with nothing unique to offer. The website he owns is his first and he rushed the whole thing.. So .. any advice for me?
Don't spam, be patient, learn to work with affiliates, and don't get banned from any more advertising programs.
You have at least 5 years to learn as much as you can. The one advice I can give to anyone is think as creative as possible. Creativity is worht millions, litterally
I'd offer your PHP/MySQL skills to raise some capital. Either that or spend some time coding a fantastic site that attacts links rather than having to pay for them.
If you less tech savvy, it is better to create a blog, most of the blogs are free, blog creation and maintanance is much easier than site. You can earn money by placing others ads on your site.
Yep, don't get bogged down in the idea of sticking with your first site... looking back, my first few sites absolutely sucked. It wasn't until my fifth or sixth creation that I finally started to really understand what it takes to make money online And of course you never stop learning!
most affiliate netrorks/programs donot accept 15 yr old kid , so remember next time sign up under your mom/dad name , and donot spam at all , its illegal
Start off slow and read. Read , read , and read and when you are sick of reading read some more. Try to create a simple blog on a topic you enjoy and could easly write about once ad. Get the traffic then look into getting the cash.
Dude, you have the next 3 or so years to spend building and promoting websites without needing to worry about paying the rent. If you started now and applied yourself just little bit, you could have some juicy domains by the time you were 18. I know, I know. You want to make money NOW. I have a 17 year old cousin that goes out to those storage place auctions - you know the ones, where people don't pay their storage bills so their stuff gets sold. That little stinker comes away from eBay and other auction sites with $700 - $1000 a week much of the time selling someone else's crap. There's soooo many ways to make money online. Whatever you do, use this time to learn and hone your skills. Damn, I wish I would have started when I was 15. Of course, that was '93 so I'd be a millionaire by now if I did.
Yeah, I thought of creating a URL Database full of useful links for games/hostings/freebies/ and other random shit, but gave up on it after a while (Half coded atm) and need some motivation. I also had some brilliant creative plans work for me in the past, into making me a few $$. But eventually your great plans stop working :/ Thanks for the advice, and LOL at your cousin, hes smart!
