    okay here is the story. i pissed of a person in another forum and he started making a few threats about my adsense account. i didnt' think anything of it at the time. Then all of a sudden i noticed a huge increase in traffic and clicks. i thought this was suspicious so i investigated. i found that he had placed my sites, without my permission, into some autosurfs and click exchanges. i immediately contacted the site admins to have my sites removed and also contacted google about the situation. i got no repsonse from google other than a basic form letter stating the google policies. then several days later i got the dreaded email from google saying my adsense account had been shut down. is it really this easy for someone to get you banned??

    I appealed to google with the explanation but to no avail. I gave the forum information and the threads showing that he had said he would shut me down. i provided all the information i could but the appeal was denied. does anyone have any ideas or am i just SOL.

    Sorry to heard that :(
    I hope Google will understand your situation

    Anyway i have the solution against autosurf shits, place this script on your website :

    <script language="JavaScript">
    if (parent.frames.length > 0) {window.top.location.href = location.href;}
    </script>

    That sucks but unfortunately Google has little heart when it comes to explaining yourself to them. Once they make a decision, it is hard for them to undo it. Just to cover yourself, I would start looking for an alternative source of ads.

    I am not saying give up your appeal but I would not count much on the outcome.

    you could always try disabling adds for a little while (which I know sucks) but is better then being banned from google.

    You could also just put up adbrite ads on your pages, they seem to be a little more understanding, and have a 800# to call if you have problems

    good luck....who is the person you pissed off?

    just give your site logs that should help, they will surely consider your situation.

    i did that.

    i sent them copies of the forum posts, links to the posts, site logs, e-mails to and from the autosurf/click exchange, information from my google analytics, one site administrator even gave me the ip information of the person putting my sites up so that i could give that information to google.

    honestly i don't think they even looked at any of it. my account is seemingly not imporatant as i was only getting about 3-5 clicks a day. i simply got an e-mail back within literally hours of my appeal restating the adsense policies and saying my appeal had been denied etc..

    He has already been banned, too late to disable the ads now, Google already done that.

    I am sure you are correct, they get so many emails in a day that they just scan them. It seems near impossible to get back an account when you get banned. If you have been denied appeal then it is time to find another ad company. You may want to check Yahoo, I hear they are close. Good Luck!

    All autosurf display your site in a iframe, so this little script disallow your website to be displayed in a iframe, its focus your site on the first plan and close the autosurf frame :)

    Indeed, it is that easy to have someone banned.

    Google won't listen to you, they don't care. Similar thing happened to me.

    Yes, but by the time the person gets to your site for this script to run, I think the damage is already done (google has your referrer and everything by this point)

    i think Google has definately become more understanding about such things because they know some people play pranks on others or even motivated by revenge attacks and behivor like that. I am sure they will undertand.

    Try to figure out who was the guy who put your sites in the autosurf program, find one site that is owned by him, do some research and then ban his adsense account.
    And never disclose your sites to your friends or to your enemy.
