    Hi all,

I have a number of gaming sites that I need to promote, but I'm having trouble knowing where to begin and what tools / sites I should be using. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I run http://www.cheats.co.uk which is growing fast but the large majority of traffic is either type-in traffic or returning members. The site if fairly new so Google only arrived a few months back and seems to be crawling a lot of pages, however, only the index page is appearing in search results.

I'm willing to buy good links etc but I could do with some help knowing which type of links I should be looking for etc.

Sorry if I sound a bit amateur'ish but I don't have much experience monetising gaming traffic, so need to learn fast!

    Thanks in advance.

    Jay

Thats a real tough industry you are in. It will take ages to appear for the most often searched keywords for your industry unless ofcourse you have a network of good sites backing your cheats.co.uk site.

Links from good casino/gaming related sites (one way) may do the trick, but it will take a while. But the pages linking to you must have your keywords in the page title and the file name. This will help you get more benefits out of fewer links.

    Thanks for the advice.

I plan to add a number of other sites to the network over the coming month and link all together so hopefully this will help.

Can anyone recommend where I can buy good links from?

Yes, if you are planning to build up a network and drive this traffic to your main website, then it can be a good strategy to start with!

But all the sites must have relevant, informative content! Get going... Wish you Luck!

Building a network and than linking them all together is not a good idea. Search engines donot like circular linking. You can link all your sites to the main website though.

I can get you links on a good network.

nice logo, i guess this domain was on sale at sedo in past. Yes cheats is very hard niche and revenue is very less, best of luck in getting quality links, browse link sale section to find some nice deals for you.

Thanks for the replies and PM's.

I will be speaking with some people about link building.

The other cheats website I mentioned previously (10 in total) will be launching in the next week or two, however, I don't plan on linking them together in a basic circle.

Thanks for your comments regarding the logo Zehrila. I've owned the domain for over 6 years - bought it in a private transaction.
