Hi guys I have a problem with my 3G modem, every month from 18th to 1st from the next month, the connection is pretty good ( 2mb/s), but from 1st to 18th, all what I get is 100kb/s, I talked with the provider's support, they told me I have only 12Gb of bandwicth, when it's finished, I should wait until the 18th to get another 12Gb. So, is there any trick to get good connection all the month ? Thanks
Buy other company modem which has better plan at same price or its better to use wired broadband if you can since its always cheaper.
The problem is not with your modem, it is with your provider/subscription. Either buy a larger subscription, or be more careful what you use it for, and stretch the 12 Gb for longer. And no, there is no way to "make the speed better" if your subscription is being forced to a lower speed, apart from changing the subscription or provider/getting a better plan.
How much costs fiber optic connection in your place? I personally use 75Mbit/s fiber optic for 15 Euro a month. 3G modem is absolutely out of date here
Its too high if I am going to compere with my fiberoptic connection. I pay only $8 per month . I am from Mumbai.
I would be easier to advocate for $8/month if you have a possible customer tally in the millions (Mumbai). Fiber, here, in Norway, would cost me minimum $65/month, and add to that the installation cost, which would be about $600-$1000, probably, I can deal with having cable-connection of about 100/25Mbps for about $25/month It's not just the cost of the actual connection, it's the general cost-level of the country you live in - Norway being one of the most expensive countries in the world... I can only dream about fiber for $8
