hey fpattberg if I'm understand you correctly your looking for a way to build up traffic for you blog. Well I just started a service called blog engage and it's dedicated for bloggers only. Almost a niche market like diig but as I mention it's only for bloggers. Fell free to post your blogs at the site and for the first few weeks I'm publishing all blogs to the front page.
