I am with byethost.com right now and they offer a lot of bandwith and space and they are cheap but it comes with a huge problem.. they must host their servers on dialup service, they are extremely slow so I have decided to change webhost. Any good cheap webhosts?
You can host with www.ezspl.com. Their plans are like $4.00 per month and they have cheap domain prices.
I use 55host.net and so far they are very good. outstanding uptime and no problems yet. The only downside I have ran into is that image/file uploading through PHP has been disabled (which comes as no surprise, just a little disappointed ). It is extremely cheap and very good hosting, I highly recommend it!
jmhyer123, can you tell me what is your site that you have hosted with 55host so I can see how fast it is. also guys can you click on the site in my signature and see if it loads fine and how is the speed. I submitted a ticket and their response was that it is working fast for them and everything is fine but it is very slow for me.
Tough question,try to pay bit more and avoid any hosting company who offer a lot or unlimited of bandwith & space,my recommendition try hostgator
I would go with hostgator. They are great. They even install certain modules like pspell for you if you ask.
I'm hosting a free site at ismywebsite.com they are really good for a free host. They offer 100mb of space and 1gp of bandwidth but if you contact them you can request more space. I would highly recommend them if you want to be hosted for free.
I'm with 1and1 and HostGator and I'm more than satisfied with what I get in exchange. Good and very known hosting companies.
For less headache and good support go with a major provider, while small and reseller are cheaper they tend to be under the control of larger players.

I recomend bluehost.com They offer fairly affordable hosting at less then 100 a year with a domain name. You get a lot of space and bandwidth as well. Not only that but they also give you loads of free scripts and a 100 dollars worth of vouchers for adwords and yahoo ads.
