Have you tried entrecard? It's not exactly like blogrush, but it does give you some extra exposure. Try looking them up to see if you'd like to have a go at entrecard...
Another alternative is the newly launched Spottt.com. Basically it is a link exchange program using 125X125 button. It was also mentioned that you can target your advertisement to like-minded people.
BlogRush is a good traffic building widget? I didn't know that. I have to agree that Entrecard is capable of bringing in waves of traffic though.
lol...I used BlogRush for a good week before I decided it was useless to my blog. Yeah, entrecard is definitely capable of bringing you traffic. I've come across a few great blogs I wouldn't have otherwise noticed through entrecard. The thing about it is, for me, it upped my bounce rate significantly from card droppers that stop by just for a daily stop and drop. Traffic yes, loyal readership...not sure about that one. I'm gonna keep it on my blog though as it does have some networking capabilities...
Until recently, I always used Blogrush on my blog. After a recent scroll through my visitor stats, I noticed blogrush never once brought me any traffic. Not sure if I was doing something wrong or what. No traffic = No blogrush on my website.
