Any good logo sofware?

    If you're just doing a web logo Fireworks is fine. I've used it plenty of times.

    Of course if you're trying to pull together a business logo, nothing beats hiring a professional designer. It's worth the investment...as opposed to spending hours tinkering with ideas and coming up with something so-so.

    I have a client who turned me on to www.DesignOutpost.com. Logos start at $100 and they do suprisingly great quality work.

    It's sort of based on spec....so you submit your project and then whoever is freelancing with them can do mockups. You might get ten different samples from ten designers, then you get to pick the one you like the most (or ask for revisions). This is all run on a public forum so you can check out what projects are being bid at, and what their mockups look like.

    It's pretty cool.

    I use Bannersketch free banners then just resize it with paintnet.
