I am using keyword analyzer, version 7. It is an excellent tool to analyze the selected keywords...

The AdWords tool and Wordtracker are fairly good.

I would say that without a doubt, the AdWords tool is the best. I generally type in the keyword of choice, it then gives you other variotions of the keywords. What makes this tool great is that you can analyse the search volume for the keyword, analyse trends and also see how much PPC competition it has. If you use this info and use certain functions within Google cleverly, ie.g. the number of sites competing for that term, allintitle etc then this should give you a fairly good idea what is good to optimise for short and the long-term.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

Also, forgot to mention that if you are looking at specific niches, then an addiitonal tool is the Google traffic estimator tool. This will help you understand what an average CPC is for each keyword. Most people are aware of these tools as they are in the public domain.

    Thanks

mm...Google traffic estimator tool is awesome but it doesn't show us the total search of that particular kw. it's kind of important cuz we should know how many people search on that kw.....
