As you know, forum posting is a good way of creating backlinks. However, if you post on a forum of a topic which you don't know anything about, it is spamming, and I don't want to do that. I want to know some forums which I can actively join and get backlinks from too!For that, I want to know good forums which have general topics, like "Let's talk about everything" "Let's talk about jokes" "Let's talk about life" or something like that. (not specific topic like this seo forum, if you get my draft) Can anyone reccomend good forums of these sorts which allow us to put signature with backlinks? Thanks!!

yes, it is a good way to create backlinks but how much those backlinks worth is the question. with most of the posts not staying on the front page for more than few hours, lot of threads having 20 posts per page, and each reply having upto 4 links in the signature (some forums allow more than 4 links in the sig), those backlinks don't really count much. if you have a million post in dozens of forums, then that would be different. but few hundred ot even few thousand posts with signature wont do you any good
