Any good directory submission services? Does it really help?

Can anyone recommend any good website directory submission services to me( free or paid).Also, do they really help that much.

So far I remember there are few useful thread in this board which has good number of directories list, you can search it out.

 

I started doing this myself last night form a couple of directory listings that I found posted around this forum and others and my god it takes a long time. Hopefully it will be worth it though.

I have been looking for services that do this too and so far have found 200 directories for $20 has anyone seen a cheaper service than that?

 

That is pretty cheap for submissions, as long as you can verify that the posts have been made and that they are not in "bad neighborhoods" as defined by Google.

I use DirectoryMaximizer.com

They charge $.14/directory submission. So it's $14 for 100 directories. All of the directories they submit to are SEO friendly and you get confirmations that your submissions have taken place. You can also pick and choose which directories you want to submit to. However, after seeing the other thread that was posted here (500 directories for $27) that is a way better deal. I think I'll check them out as well.

Ive just submitted my site to ishan , he is doing some really cheap submissions, this is my first time doing this , i hope it works well in pr & promotion of the site

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I have also been looking for some paid submissions services. These are cheaper than the ones I have found.
