any good category to list article directories?

What would be the best category to list article directories?
I would like to avoid listing them in niche directory category.
Any suggestion?

Well, to me, an article directory is not really a directory in the classical sense. You are not categorizing and indexing web sites.

I would think an article repository (better word choice IMO) could be considered as either a marketing resource (like a press release site) or a webmaster resource (free content for building sites).

Tough question! I have a separate category for them, but obviously that may not be the case in many directories. I thought the best place for that category was under "reference" because hopefully people are going to your site to look things up. Some directories also have "content creation" or "content providers" type categories that would either be under internet or reference.
